Bug Hotel Telford Forge

A new Bug Hotel has been created at our Telford Forge Retail Park. Created from old pallets and recycled building materials, at 6 feet tall the structure has received lots of positive comments already and should be obvious to even the most shortsighted bugs! This is a great opportunity to actively support local biodiversity and see the results in action. We will be arranging site visits for interested local groups as the Hotel becomes populated.

Providing local employment opportunities in Marseille

Hammerson’s 61,000 m2 development of Les Terrasses du Port shopping centre in Marseille created around 2,000 permanent retail and leisure jobs. Our groundbreaking partnership with national agency Pôle Emploi, and local associations Emergence(s) and La Mission Locale de la Ville de Marseille, facilitated access to jobs and training for local people.

The Big Positive Weekend 2014

​The Big Positive Weekend visited nine Hammerson shopping centres between June and August 2014. It celebrated people, brands, ideas and actions coming together to make our world a more positive place and successfully inspired over 200,000 positive actions. Over nine weekends, in nine cities, travelling 900 km, that was one Big Positive road trip. And it will be back in summer 2015...
